We’re engaged!
We got engaged on December 24, 2020. Hope you can join us for our special day in October. COVID go away! 〝〇〟⊂(`・Δ・´)⊃〝〇〟
July 09, 2021 | Waimea Valley
The first time Ken Fujiwara and Sascha Wada spoke to each other was in high school during a heated argument about a T-shirt design Sascha created. Debates turned into conversations, then into a wonderful friendship. Reuniting almost ten years later, they're still each other's best friends, true loves, and weirdos.
We're going to have a casual ceremony in the heart of Waimea Valley, where Ken popped the question to Sascha. The ceremony will be followed by dinner and drinks at the rustic Proud Peacock. Dress comfortably (semi-formal), and relax in this beautiful oasis.
The ceremony starts at 4:30pm, however because we have shuttle service please arrive at the venue by 4:00pm.
If you arrive late there will be no shuttle pick up and will need to walk to the venue.
If you are coming in from Honolulu, please leave by 2:30pm to beat the traffic going into North Shore as it gets congested on the weekends. The reception ends at 9:30pm.
Admission is free if you decide to come early. You're free to roam the grounds until the ceremony starts. Walk through the ticket booth and let the attendant know you're here for the wedding.
Please see the timeline below for the order of events.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all news and updates on the event will be posted here. Please be sure to check back once in a while to see updates.
